Delete your account
You can delete your Sarafu account at any time, and you do not have to ask anyone. Deleting is permanent — there is no grace period and no way for us to bring it back.
In the app
- 1Open Sarafu and go to Settings.
- 2Tap Profile, then Delete account.
- 3Read the summary, then confirm.
If you no longer have the app
Email support@huduma.cloud from the address you signed up with, and we will delete the account within 30 days. We ask you to send it from that address because it is the only thing that shows the request is yours — we will not delete an account on the word of someone we cannot identify.
What is deleted, and what is not
Deleted immediately
- Your name, email address and sign-in details
- Every transaction, category, label, wallet and budget in a workspace only you could see
- Those workspaces themselves
Kept, without your name on it
- Entries you added to a workspace you share with other people — those stay, because they are the other members' records too. Your name comes off them.
- A workspace you own that other people are in — ownership passes to another member so their books keep working.
Want a copy first? Export your transactions to a spreadsheet from Settings → Export before you delete. Once the account is gone we cannot produce it for you.
